Acceptance of Terms By using the Scientific Coatings website, placing an order, or requesting services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase services. 2. Products and Services Scientific Coatings offers eligible retail products, custom Cerakote refinishing, laser engraving, and related services. Product specifications, colors, availability, and descriptions may change. Custom finishes can vary slightly from digital representations. 3. Orders and Payment Orders are subject to acceptance, product availability, lawful fulfillment, and successful payment authorization. Prices, taxes, and applicable shipping charges are shown during checkout. Charges will appear as SCIENTIFIC COATINGS on billing statements. 4. Custom Work and Approvals Customers are responsible for providing accurate project specifications and disclosing relevant item conditions. Quoted custom work may require additional communication before production. Once customization begins, change-of-mind cancellation or return requests are not accepted, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing. 5. Processing and Preorders In-stock products typically ship within 1–3 business days. Custom Cerakote and engraving turnaround times are quoted individually. Custom Streamlight preorders may take up to three weeks to prepare before shipment, plus transit time. If fulfillment is delayed, customers will receive any notices, choices, and refunds required by law. 6. Shipping and Delivery Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Shipping is available to eligible destinations in the United States and its territories, subject to restrictions. Our separate Shipping Policy provides further details. 7. Firearms and Regulated Items All firearms, components, accessories, and transfers are subject to applicable federal, state, territorial, and local law, licensing requirements, and carrier rules. Customers must be legally eligible to purchase, possess, ship, and receive applicable items. Customer-supplied firearms and parts must not be shipped until written instructions are provided after the order. Scientific Coatings may refuse or cancel unlawful or noncompliant transactions. 8. Returns, Refunds, and Order Problems Standard products are not eligible for discretionary returns, including when unused or unopened. Custom products and services are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once customization begins. This does not limit rights or remedies for defective, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed goods or services, or other rights provided by law. See our Refund and Return Policy. 9. Intellectual Property Website text, imagery, designs, branding, and other content belong to Scientific Coatings or their respective owners and may not be reused without permission. Customers must have appropriate rights to any artwork submitted for engraving or customization. 10. Warranty and Liability Any applicable manufacturer warranty is governed by its terms. Custom finishes and modifications may affect manufacturer warranty coverage. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Scientific Coatings is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. 11. Shipping Destinations Scientific Coatings ships eligible products throughout the United States and eligible U.S. territories, subject to applicable laws, carrier rules, and product eligibility. Orders that cannot be lawfully fulfilled may be canceled and refunded as required by law. 2. In-Stock Products In-stock products are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Business days exclude weekends and recognized federal holidays. Processing does not include carrier transit time. 3. Custom Cerakote and Laser Engraving Custom project turnaround times are quoted individually based on preparation, complexity, production scheduling, and availability. Estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. 4. Custom Streamlight Preorders Custom Streamlight preorders may require up to three weeks for preparation before shipment, plus transit time. This includes preparation, Cerakote, reassembly, laser marking, and inspection. We will communicate delays and provide legally required cancellation or refund options. 5. Shipping Rates and Methods Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination, package characteristics, and shipping method. Available options and costs are displayed before purchase confirmation. Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed. 6. Customer-Supplied Firearms and Parts Customers receive written shipping instructions after placing an order. Do not ship firearms or regulated components before receiving and reviewing those instructions. Customers must comply with applicable laws and carrier requirements. FFL transfers will be arranged where required. Noncompliant shipments may be refused. 7. Return Shipping of Completed Projects Completed custom projects are returned using lawful shipping methods to recipients legally authorized to receive them. Some shipments require transfer through an FFL. Applicable return shipping charges will be disclosed at checkout or in the quote. 8. Shipping Restrictions Firearms, magazines, components, and accessories may be restricted by destination. We will not knowingly ship products where sale, possession, or transfer is prohibited. Customers must provide accurate destination and transfer information. 9. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments If a shipment is damaged, missing, or appears lost, contact us promptly with the order number, shipment details, and photos where applicable. We will investigate and assist with appropriate remedies and carrier claims consistent with law. 10. Address Accuracy and Tracking Customers must provide complete, accurate shipping details. Defective, Damaged, Incorrect, or Misdescribed Orders If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from its description, contact us promptly with the order number, a description of the issue, and photos where appropriate.
