Hi, I am Thomas, I’m a fifth-generation coatings specialist, veteran, and the owner of Scientific Coatings. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands, figuring out how things work, and finding ways to make good products even better.

Scientific Coatings started as a passion project and has grown into a place where I can combine that experience with modern technology, from professional Cerakote finishing and laser engraving to custom projects and gunsmithing.

For me, it’s about more than simply applying a coating or engraving a design. I enjoy working with people to bring their ideas to life, paying attention to the details, and producing something I’m proud to put my name on.

When I’m not working on Scientific Coatings, you’ll usually find me in the shop working on the next project, learning something new, or probably making another mess along the way.
